Brian Jenkins was born and raised in Winnsboro, SC, with his parents Henry and Gloria Jenkins. Brian graduated from Fairfield Central High School where he was an honor student and Academic Quiz Team member.
Brian attended Midlands Technical college where he graduated with an A.A. in Legal Assistant/Paralegal Studies. Brian then transferred to the University of South Carolina at Columbia where he earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Brian went on to work for State Farm as a claim adjuster for five and half years. During his time at State Farm, Brian secured his Associate in Claims and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designations. He handled hundreds of claims as an adjuster and brings inside knowledge of how insurance companies operate, which is an invaluable benefit to the firm’s personal injury clients. For the David W. Martin Law Group, Brian works alongside the personal injury attorneys to assist clients throughout the claims process on each case.
After leaving his job in claims, Brian continued into the financial services and business consulting sector which provided him with a wealth of knowledge on which first-party products are available to clients who are facing catastrophic loss, or personal injury issues. Through the law firm’s processes, David W. Martin Law Group is able to fully explore all sources of recovery for each client when facing personal injury or catastrophic damage cases.
In 2011, Brian decided to pursue his dream of attending law school and enrolled at the Charlotte School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2013. Although currently a paralegal at the David W. Martin Law Group, Brian intends to sit for the South Carolina Bar in the future and continue his path of becoming a licensed South Carolina Attorney. As a paralegal, Brian handles projects related to Personal Injury for our clients across the state of South Carolina.
